Project name: “Industrial Automation goes Green”

On March 2nd, 2022, Trade Meister EOOD was approved and started implementation of the project “Industrial Automation goes Green” supported by the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the frame of the Programme “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Bulgaria”.

The project will be implemented in Sofia, Bulgaria in the next 9 months. The project budget is EUR 138,300 and the grant amount is EUR 62,300, representing 45.05% of the eligible costs of the project.

The overall objective of the project “Industrial Automation goes Green” is to replace the manufacture of metal and composite parts, elements and components ensured by the traditional methods of workpiece removal (milling, turning, casting, laser and other cutting) with innovative additive technologies (3D printing) that use different composite materials.

The project will be implemented via the purchase and installation of an Industrial 3D printer, 3D scanner, Reverse Engineering Software and Miter Saw with a measuring system.

The expected results from the implementation of this project are that the addition of 3D printing technology to our business will increase the competitiveness and efficiency of the company, improve environmental sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint and reducing waste, and require less energy and fewer raw materials in operations. We expect an annual decrease of CO2 eq. after project implementation of more than 45%.

By the end of November 2022 Trade Meister EOOD has successfully completed the project “Industrial Automation Becomes Green”, with the financial support of the Norway Grants 2014-2021, in the frame of the Programme “Business Development, Innovation and SMEs, Bulgaria”.

The project was implemented by purchasing and installing an industrial 3D printer, 3D scanner, reverse engineering software and Mitre Saw with measuring and aspiration systems.

The expected results of the implementation of this project are to increase the company’s competitiveness and efficiency, improve environmental sustainability by reducing our carbon footprint, reduce waste and lower energy costs.
